TEHRAN (IRNA) -- The Iranian cabinet has approved raising the working level of Iran-Kuwait Economic Committee.

A report released by the secretariat of the Government's Council for dissemination of information on Saturday said that the approval took place in response to the Foreign Ministry's proposal, which is in accordance with Article 138 of Iran's Constitution.

The issue has been officially communicated to the ministries of foreign affairs and interior by First Vice President Parviz Davudi.

This joint economic committee acts under the supervision of Iran's Foreign Ministry.
